This assignment was an in class assignment. We picked a print that we had already made (my teacher told me to do the print I did from our first assignment) and then we re-printed it using a contrast filter. A contrast filter helps seperate the tones so that your image doesn't look gray, or flat, but black and white and dimensional, or in other words they allow for more contrast (hints the name). There are some that you can buy to put on the end of your camera lens, and there are also ones that you can use for printing in the dark room, like I used for this assignment. So here is the original print, followed by the print I did using a contrast filter.
