This is a whale monument. Kirk is standing in front of the ribs. We flew the kite that my parents bought me when we went to Washington DC. Kirk is the only one who has ever been able to get it to fly. It was so windy that, at one point, the kite broke loose and I had to run almost all the way back to the parking lot to retrieve it.
As you can see by my hair, it was very windy. . . 
It looked fun & romantic! Can't wait to hang out with you guys at the beach! 5 weeks and counting.
